So she left. She started her school with 15 children in a church down the road — no building of her own, no playbook to follow. She figured out every piece herself: the legal structure, the finances, the enrollment, the curriculum, the hiring, all of it. Then she built her own schoolhouse on her farm. Today she has 40 students, a second building going up right next to the first, and kindergarteners reading at levels most districts don't reach until second grade.
Now she hands that entire system to others — so they don't have to figure it out alone.
